TECHNICAL COLLEGE.

MEETING OF THE BOARD. The Now Plymouth Technical School Board mot last night. Present: Messrs. P. G. H. White (chairman). J. S. Connett, G. H. Dolly, F. A. Coleman and R. J. dark. An apology was received from Mr. W. G. Reid. Mr. G. S. Crimp wrote resigning his position as com'mercial mastei. The resignation was received with regret. Correspondence was received from the Education Board regarding the election of members of the Technical School Board. It was decided to draw lots for the three members who retire according to the regulation, and this resulted in Messrs. White, Reid and Bicknell retiring, the first two being eligible for re-election. The election will take place on August 2i2. The director’s report stated there were 184 pupils in attendance. He stated a workshop for motor-car engineering was necessary.
