DEATH FROM EXPOSURE.

OLD MAN SLEPT IN SHED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waimate, Last Night. After sleeping only partially clothed in a half-open railway waiting-shed, Peter Anderson, 74 years of age, an old age pensioner, believed to be unmarried, was found unconscious and died shortly afterwards. Deceased’s papers showed he had been treated at the Ashburton hospital, this month under the name of Thomas Patten for the results of excessive drinking. At an inquest the coroner (Mr. E. D.
