Players, 388 for nine wickets declared and 164 for four wickets (Sandham 74 unfinished), beat Gentlemen, 360 and 101. Hitch secured in the second innings three wickets with four balls. Hampshire, 481 for seven wickets declared (Mead 132 and Newman 130), beat Worestershire, 224 and 247.
