QUESTIONS IN PARLIAMENT.
SUPERANNUATION FOR NURSES. (By wire—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The member for Taranaki (Mr. S. G. Smith) gave notice in the House to-day of his intention to ask the Minister for Health when is it intended to make provision for superannuation for nurses. Mr. D. Buddo (Kaiapoi) intends to ask the Minister for Health if steps will be taken to provide subsidies for Plunket nurses in rural areas. He indicated that at the present time a Government aubsidy would be very welcome. Sir John Luke (Wellington North) proposes to raise the question of whether the Government intends to make advances to returned soldiers to acquire their homes. Mr. H. Atmore (Nelson) wants to know whether it is intended to bring down legislation thia session providing for free dental treatment for country children. He remarks on the fact that town children already have this benefit.
