A BRUTAL ASSAULT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 13. Tn the Supreme Court Arthur Patrick M‘Donald was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for indecent assault on a woman in a public street. Mr. Justice Stringer remarked that accused, who was drunk, used brutal violence, and had there not been an appearance of two boys serious consequences might have followed.
