It is unofficially stated the defeated section of the Labor Party Is preparing for calling a special conference in order to defeat the Communists. LABOR CONFERENCE. Sydney, June 13. Mr. Willis, at the Labor Conference, ruled that all members of the extremist section who broke away from the La- ' bor Party in 1919 be readmitted to the fold with continuity of membership. A motion of dissent with the ruling was defeated by 120 votes to 58. Mr. Willis also ruled that members of the Legislative Council were members of Parliament, and were consequently ineligible to sit on the executive. COAL FROM SOUTH AFRICA. Sydney, June 13. It is announced that two more cargoes of coal are being shipped from South Africa for Australian ports, owing to the shortage of seasonal lines and other causes.
