CAME HOME LATE.

PRINCE THROUGH THE SKYLIGHT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, June 13. A Sun cable states that all England is laughing at the latest story of the Prince of Wales. The Prince last week lost the latchkey of his bachelor apartments in St. James Palace. Returning after a dance in the early hours of the morning and unwilling to arouse the sleeping servants, he searched for means of entrance, found an open window, obtained a leg-up from a patrolling policeman and disappeared into the room. He immediately, however, reappeared at the window and dropped to the pavement, explaining that the room was occupied by a female servant. The Prince and the policeman searched in opposite directions for another means of entrance, and presently the policeman heard sounds of breaking glass and discovered the Prince had obtained entrance by climbing on to a low roof, breaking a skylight, and dropping to the floor.
