ROBERTSON-ORR CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, May 9. When the Presbytery decided to reopen the Robertson-Orf Case he* appealed to the General Assembly against the decision, giving reasons. The committee appointed to defend the Presbytery’s action has submitted replies to these reasons, which were approved. They contend that the charges made against Mrs. Evans were found untrue in court, that the statement that she was no longer a member of St. Andrew’s Church was incorrect, and that the case had long ceased to be a private quarrel and was now a public 'matter.
