Some special lines in Manchester goods are opening out at the Melbourne Limited. These are 36 inch Winceyette 1/11, 36 inch famous Burlington striped pyjama cloth. 1/11, Belle twill cream flannelette 1/11, heavy 28 inch striped flannelettes for .'hirts, pyjamas, etc., 1/6 and 1/9 yard. Above goods have just landed ex steamer Opawa.
A feature of the programme for the opening day of the Moturoa school will be two half-hour concerts to be given during the afternoon. One is to be given by the pupils and one by a troupe of Maori entertainers under the direction of Mr. ■ Atua, who is well known as a first-rate organiser of musical functions and entertainments. In the morning the official party will be greeted by Maori hakas and war cries and poi dances given by pupils of the school, who have been specially (trained for the occasion by Mr. Atua.
