REBUILDING URGED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Several meetings of householders tonight decided to support a circular recarding a protest against the Government limitation of subsidies on moneys raised by local effort. It was also decided to urge on the Government the need for raining £3,000,000 for rebuild, ing schools. The opinion was expressed by some that there should be a reversion to the old system of obtaining handwork supplies on a capitation basis, as opposed to the present method or obtaining them through the department.
