INGLEWOOD.

(From Our Own Correspondent. Ideal weather prevailed yesterday for the Inglewood schools swimming carnival. A start was made punctually at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and the different events followed one another without a hitch, but were so numerous, as well as attracting so many entries,, that by 4 o’clock, when the children had all had as much of the sport as was good for them, a good many finals remained to be decided. Results will be published later. There was a good attendance of relatives and friends o_ the competitors.
