CHILD’S BODY FOUND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, March 9. At the inquest on the body of the child found at Stanley Bay beach on February 10 it was stated that parentage bad not been traced. There were no marks on the skin indicating \ iolence. The body had not been long in the water. Death had occurred between 24 and 48 hours before duscoverv. The coroner returned a verdict of death from asphyxiation following suffocation. ANOTHER MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT On Thursday night, at about 7 o’clock, a man named Graham, while riding a motor cycle on the Palmer Road’ was rur. into by a horse and suffered injuries to his head. He was brought in to the Hawera Hospital, where he is reported to be making fair progress, says the Star. MOTOR CYCLISTS IN HOSPITAL. Mr. S. Whitehead, who fell during one of the Hawera motor cycle races on Wednesday and had to be removed to the hospital, has regained consciousness and is progressing favorably. The young man Mdrrig Aagaar, who met with a collision with a gig when riding a motor cycle on Wednesday night, has not yet regained consciousness. Ernest Roberts, who suffered .a broken jaw in the same accident, is reported to be improving. Star.
