At the Police Court Wong Gan Hec, aged 19, was .charged with forging a document by altering an entry in a Post Office Savings Bank book at Taihape from 15s to £2OO 15s. Ho will be remanded until to-morrow to Taihape. MISSING WOMAN FOUND. Wanganui, Feb. 7. The friends and relatives of Mrs. Matson, of Gonville, were greatly concerned recently regarding her sudden disappearance in the night, and it was feared that she has been drowned in the Wanganui River, as a note she left indicated suicide and that her cross was too hard to bear. The police have now received advice that she is alive and well in Wairarapa. counts of unlawfully detaining children, Oamaru, Feb. 7. The Oamaru election petition was called before Sir Robert Stout this morning, and was adjourned by mutual consent to Wellington till March 2G.
