WRONGFUL DISMISSAL.

Greymouth, Last Night
Mrs. Mclntyre, licensee of the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, was proceeded against by the Department of Labor at the Magistrate’s Court to-day for dismissing two waitresses because they joined the newly-constituted employees’ union. Mr. Meldrum, S.M., convicted defendant and fined her £lO and costs.
