DUBLIN TERRORS.

LIVELY TIMES CONTINUE. MANY ATTACKS IN CITY. RUSE OF THE REBELS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 17, 8.45 p.m. London, Jan. 16. Irish rebels piled a motor-lorry with grey blankets, in which rebels armed with rifles were hidden, and when the lorry reached College Green the barrels of rifles appeared from the blankets and firing commenced. Women shrieked, and following the example of men, threw themselves on their faces in the street. Meantime, the motordriver went at full speed down Grafton Street and other parts of the city, Free Staters replying to the rifle and bomb-fire with rifles and revolvers. Several civilians were wounded and at least one woman was killed.

Rebels delivered three other attacks in Dublin, including one on the office of Freeman’s Journal, the Broadston railway-sta-tion, and the Portobello Barracks. Thousands of people leaving theatres and kinemas were endangered. Free State soldiers were wounded, and also a priest and other civilians. FIGHTING IN THE STREETS. London, Jan. 16.
