The butter market is very slow, retailers holding off in view of the early arrival of large New Zealand shipments. Prices are weak and are ’likely to go lower. New Zealand choicest is quoted at 206 s to 208 s, exceptionally 210 s, and unsalted 2165. Australian choicest salted is worth about 200 a and secondaries 1945. The cheese market is slightly easier.
