London, November 22. The Empire ■ Exhibition announces that Canada and Newfoundland arc participating. Canada is taking 150,000 square feet, similar to the Australian pavilion, and Newfoundland 8000 feet. The latter is spending a minimum of £lO,OOO. The Dominions and colonies thus far have arranged to take 503,000 feet. RESTORING NELSON’S VICTORY. London, November 21. The King has contributed £2O towards the fund for restoring Nelson’s flagship, Victory. TWO STEAMERS DISABLED. Vancouver, November 21. Two salvage steamers have been dispatched to assist the tug Sea Monarch, which is attempting to tow in the Stuart Dollar, which has a broken rudder, and the Bessie Dollar, which has burst a steampipe. They are in difficulties, and a storm is rising 500 miles north-west of Victoria. The Bessie Dollar became disabled while standing by the crippled Stuart Dollar, which the Sea Monarch was then towing.
