WITHDRAWAL ON 'WEDDING DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Isabella Anna McMillan, of Ashburton, was awarded £4OO damages against Gordon Harrison, of Ashburton, for breach of promise of marriage. The parties became engaged in September, 1021, and the marriage was fixed for July 18, 1922. From the time of the engagement familiarity took place and a child was born on July 5. On the day fixed for the marriage defendant repudiated the contract.
