HOTEL GUEST ATTACKED, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Goober 12. W. H. Ballinger, a well-known Wellington racehorse owner, was attacked in his bedroom at the Grand Hotel early this morning. Percy Christie, who was charged with the negligent driving of a motor cycle, by which a passenger inside a car was injured and had a leg amputated above the knee, was found to have driven at a dangerous speed and ordered td pay hospital charges of £33 2s and damages £ 166.
