Kendrick, F. J. Mehrtens, J. Parrish, T. Perry, G. S. Strack, L- K. Tarrant, J. H. Thomas, A. D. Walker, W. H. Were, F Varnham. The following were appointed an executive committee: Mr. G- Sangster (president), Messrs. J. W. Boon and M. T. Phillips (vice-presidents), and Messrs. L. T. Aylward, A. W. R. Amesa, D. M. Clarke, *H. A. Hunt, H. Johnson, W. Judd, E. Linnell, C. Moore, D. O’Sullivan, W- Pettigrew, W. H. Rutledge and R. G. Steer.

Messrs. M. T. Phillips and H. A. Hunt were appointed a farm committee. - A sub-committee consisting of Messrs. ' Amess, Hunt and J. B- Richards was appointed to go into the question of holding a series of agricultural classes for farmers at the Stratford District Technical and High School in the month of August or September. It was decided to take strong action against anyone using the association’s grounds as a training ground for horses and destroying or removing property. GENERAL ITEMS. There were 24 births. 3 deaths and 5 marriages in Stratford during the month of June, the figures for the corresponding month of last year being 23, 4 and 12 respectively. The following are the figures for the June quarter, the figures for the corresponding quarter of last' 1 year being given in parenthesis: Births 71 (54), deaths 11 (14), marriages 20 (23).
