LEADERS SENT TO GAOL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. ■ Received April 20, 5.5 p.m. Cairo, April 20. After a brief trial by a French military court in Syria on charges connected with the recent uprising sensational sentences were inflicted on Syrian leaders who were Ministers under the Feieul regime. Two were sentenced to twenty years’ imprisonment, one to fifteen years, three each to ten years and another to five years.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
