MARKETING OF PRODUCE.

NEW SCHEME DECIDED ON. DETAILS NOT REVEALED. STATEMENT BY THE PREMIER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the House this afternoon the Premier announced that the Government ha<T been giving serious consideration to the difficulty which had arisen in connection with the export and marketing of New Zealand produce. Mr. Massey said the Government had now fixed upon a scheme which they believed would meet that difficulty. He was not prepared to go into details at that moment, but he would make a statement on the subject early next week, probably on Monday or Tuesday. If the scheme was approved legislation would be necessary to give effect to it, but the Government wished to have members’ criticism, with the view of making the scheme as perfect as possible.
