THE PRINCE OF WALES.
WELCOMED AT ADEN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aden, Nov. 12. The Renown has arrived here. The Prince- of Wales was welcomed by the British and native population. The most picturesque feature was the reception at the Residency of friendly native rulers, ‘headed by the Sultan Huisen Dihanced, who is nearly a hundred years old, lame and half blind. He travelled over sixty miles of desert from his kingdom to greet the Prince. Those present at the Prince’s reception also included the Sultan Abdul Kader and the Amir Nasr Bin, shereef of Dali. Sir Geoffrey Archer, Governor of Somaliland, also came from Berbera with representative Somali chiefs. All classes of the native population received the Prince with extraordinary enthusiasm. The Renown departed in the evening.
