NEW TABLET AT THE ABBEY. STONE FROM WATERLOO. = By Teleyraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Received Nov. 11, 9-5 P-m- „ London, Nov. 10. The Armistice Day ceremony at the SAbbey includes the unveiling of » x * ble * hewn from marble found on the field ot Waterloo. The inscription beneath this Etone reads: ‘‘Here rests the body of a British warrior, unknown by name and tank, brought from France to be among the most illustrious of the land, and buried here on Armistice Day, 1920, in the presence of Hie Majesty King George the Fifth, his Ministers of State, the Chiefs of his Forces, and a vast concourse of the nation. Thus are cotamemorated the many multitude who during the Great VS ar of 1914-1918 gave the most man can give—life itself—for God, for King, for country, for loved ones, for home and Empire, and for the escred cause of justice and freedom of the world. They buried him among the Kings because he had done good towards God and towards his House.” —Aua.-N-Z. Cable Assn.
