The Morning Post concludes a series of articles on the re-settlement of the Empire with whites by publishing a symposium of the financiers’ opinions. The manager of the Australian Bank of Commerce thinks that group settlement is most advisable, and would be best under Government control. The Ro ya. Bank manager agreed that re-settle-ment was desirable, but declined to discuss the methods, on the ground that the governing considerations were largely political.
