FARMER’S DEATH.
TRAGEDY AT OPUNAKE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A man named Robert Robertson was found dead on his farm with gun shot wounds in his head. It is believed to be a case of suicide. Deceased had been farming on the Ihaia (Wiremn) Road for many years, and was a man of splendid physique and a very capable bushman. Fop some time past (it is alleged) he had been very reserved, and lived a lonely life in an "isolated part of the country. Constable Clousttfn brought the body into Opunake on Sunday. An inquest will be held by the Coroner.
