KIRKWOOD v. EAST. MATCHES AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Kirkwood and East played exhibition games at the Maungakiekie Club's links and the Titirangi links yesterday. They appeared first in a four-ball game against Blair and Watt, the local professionals, finishing all square. Neither visitor played up to his best form, Kirkwood being off the line in several drives, but some shots front the rough were very good. Ln the afternoon Kirkwood played the best ball of R. M.
