OPINION ON “NASH” CARS r 'J'HE following extracts from an article taken from the English “AUTO- ' OAR,” written by Mr. Owen John, the highest authority on Motor Cars in the i trade in England, is instructive:— |

“I have lately been using a 6-cylinder Car, better known in the States than ■ over here, called the “NASH,” and once ■ again 1 find myself having to seek all i the nicest adjectives I know of to fit its mining. Standing at reAt, or sweeping (along at 55 miles per hour, 1 cannot re>member a sweeter engine; Its power is ‘glorious, its acceleration swift without I being violent, its pieking-up abiiites all i hat could he dw'red, and nothing could be more elegant than the way in which, [foot off the throttle, the engine comes i into use as a brake. Of course it has jan engine starter that, is quiet, its lamps [give plenty of light and do not rattle, i its tyres are big, and its springing, when [ the weight in the car is properly distrii buted, would be hard to improve.

“Fes-t and quiet as it is on the level, 1 think its .best point is on the hills, its

seats are not nearly so uncomfortable as some others, and its doors shut easier and rattle less than most.

“Under the bonnet, the engine lies in one long neat unobtrusive steel box. Everyt-hig seems closer! in to such an extent that, were it not for its appurten ’ anees, such as the distributor, starter and radiator, there would appear no reason at all why any bonnet should be necessary. Like most of its brethren, it is supposed to look after itself. Its power is R.A.C. 2b, and its price (here is the staggerer) is announced as under £600.” The prices here for immediate delivery are:—l92o, 5 and 3-seaters, £600; 1921, 5-seatefe, £675.
