There was a good attendance, and the going was good. The totalizator investments decreased •jy £6698, being £16,113, compared with £22,811 on the corresponding day last year. At Trentham this morning the trial grass gallop was open for th© first time since the meeting. It was on the heavy side. Solfanello and Blackmail, assisted by Weary Willie, did six furlongs in Imin. 21sec. Admiral Codrington, Stylish Lady and Molyneaux covered seven furlongs in Imin. 34 l-ssee. Sunarr, Kilgour and Vagabond ran a mile ano a quarter in 2min. 17sec. Morose was better than Bumptious over four fui longs nm in 52 4-Ssec. Sasanof, assisted by Delight, did a mile in Imin. 47see. Epitaph and Grotesque both sprinted Dainty Step and Halifax were in that order after seven furiongs in Imin. 30sec. Absurdum, from a moving start, ran half a mile in Msec. Amytbas was too good for Trespass over seven furlongs in limin. 35sec. Fulsome did five furlongs in 53sec. Martial 1 - Dawn and Callaghan, assisted by Password, ran seven furlongs in Imin. 35 sec. & Ruddy and Mill o’ Gowrie did seven furlongs in Imin. 36see.
