KING’S THEATRE, STRATFORD. “THE GREA'j McEWEN”

Stratford residents are fortunate in having an entertainer of the calibre of

“The Great MciEwen” to visit them this 1 coining Thursday and Friday at the King’s Theatre. This world-known ntertaiuer has just completed a ninedays* season in Palmerston North. We f quote from the Palmerston Standard: “Everybody’s Theatre last evening con- ! tained few vacant seats, when The Great McEwen opened his return season. Mr. McEwen needs no introduction to Pal I merston North audiences. During his former season here h? enjoyed a very large measure of popularity, and judging by the enthusiasm displayed by the audience for two and a half hours last night his return season should be equally successful. Mr. McEwen is a gifted entertainer. An expert at sleight-of-hand tricks he is acquainted with all the J best stage illusions. From this department he can pass without loss of time to mind reading and thought transference exhibitions. These by no means exhaust the entertainer’s abilities, for he is a master hypnotist.” The large number of satisfied users of the Corona Portable Typewriter is the best advertisement t,he machine could have. It js ideal for secretaries. ministers and all business men. A special discount of ten per cent, off all machines is offered this month at Wilson Bros., Printers and Stationers, Stratford.
