THE PEOPLE’S. WM. RUSSELL IN “THE MAN WHO DARED.” Heralded. n« the bast feature in which William Russell has starred, “The Man Who Dared,” a new William | Fox production with the story laid in the California Redwoods, is coming to the People’s to-night. William Russell has the role of Big Jim O’Kane, boss of a lumberjack camp. The story, which is by Julius G. Furthman, tells what happened to Big Jim and the girl he loved when he “got in wrong” with the sheriff. The film is said to be notable for the beauty of its setting. Trees grow 200 feet high, in the Redwoods, and to walk the forest paths is like walking in the naves of great cathedrals. Clyde de Vinna is responsible for the photography. Supporting Mr. Russell are Eileen Percy. The bill includes gazettes and a big “Sunshine” comedy. EVERYBBODY’S. LAST NIGHT OF “THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS.” To-night concludes the season at Everybody’s of the world-famed story, “The Last of the Mohicans.” The bill includes gazettes and comedy, and intending patrons should reserve at Collier’s as another crush house is anticipated. EARLE WILLIAMS TO-MORROW. Earle Williams is featured in the thrilling Vitagraph masterpiece, “Diamonds Adrift,” commencing at Everybody’s Theatre to-morrow. The story revolves around the adventures of a black cat, a diamond bracelet, and the wayward son of a wealthy shipowner. The story tells how a valuable bracelet went astray with a black eat about the neck of which the bracelet had been placed. The popular athletic star plays the role of a young man, who, having had his allowance cut off, goes to sea as a super-cargo. How he gets on the track of the missing bracelet, for which the owner has offered a huge reward and captures a blushing Mexican senorita for himself and a dangerous criminal for the Government, makes an interesting and thrilling story.
