A cribbage match was played last night ■ at Smith’s rooms between teams representing the Druids and American Order of Oddfellows, when the Druids won by 39 games to 29. This is the second match which has taken place. In the former match the Oddfellows were the victors. Arrangements are being made for a third and deciding match. After last night’s play the Oddfellows were the hosts at supper, and the evening was a most enjoyable one. The following are details of the the names of the Druids being mentioned first: H. Adams and H. Nixon 6 beat W. Milne and W. Wells 2; B. Rowe and J. Maine 5 beat M. Aagaard and A. Klee 4; D. Butchart and C. Fowler 6 beat P. Healey and C. Gatton 6; H. Leatch and S. Reader 6 beat P. Aitken and A. George 5; H. Lowry and W. Rudkin 4 beat W. McAloon and C. Lamplough 3; H. Warcup and E. Fenwick 5 drew with G. Smith and L. Brown 5. Totals: Druids 39, Oddfellows 29. FOOTBALL MATCH. A football match was played at Tima between teams representing the married and single men of the district this afternoon, and alb Tuna was present to witness the contest. Mr. Roy Vickers was captain of the single men and Mr. Latham was captain of the married men. Towards the end of a very interesting game, T. Walker scored a try for the single men, and there were no further scores, the bachelors thus winning by 3 to nil. It was the general opinion that there was considerable talent displayed on both sides. Mr. G. P. Harkness, of Midhirst, acted as referee. TJJ Lamason’s usual weekly sale is advertised for tp-iuorrow, when, in addition to his usual!**sale, he will be offering a quantity of furniture and a motor car on behalf of a felient who is leaving the district.
