A painful sensation was created in Trinity United Free'Church, Ayr. when a woman entered the pulpit while the Benediction was being pronounced, and embraced the minister, saying she wanted to make, a confession of an incident in her past life. The church officer, on entering the pulpit to remove her, was also embraced, as were afterwards several pedestrians in the road outside the church. The woman was eventually reto an ftsylusa.
