Eugene Speyer, the last descendant of the Swiss family, has revealed to the Council of Protestant Churches, at Geneva, the exact spot where John Calvin was buried in the Plain Palais cemetery. The information was liandded down from father to son for generations. The church is undertaking excavations in the hope of recovering Calvin’s Bible and ring. THE NEAR EAST. Athens, June 12.
