THE WINTER SHOW.

A RECORD ATTENDANCE SHOW CONCLUDES TO-DAY. ■Favored by fine weather, there was a very large attendance at the Winter Show at New Plymouth yesterday, the receipts being a record for any one day since the inception of the show. Throughout the day the building was crowded, children predominating, though there was a very much larger proportion of adults than, usual. In the evening the building was again crowded, and the Citizens’ Band played a programme of music. On all sides the officials came in for complimentary remarks regarding the excellence of the arrangements and the improvement in the show itself. The ladies again had a very busy time in the catering department. The side shows, etc., all appeared, to be doing well. In pigeons, Gardiner and Sons, of Mahoe, won the North Island championship with a balded headed Tumbler, There was no competition in the fantail class, in which the North Island championship had also been allotted to New Plymouth. The show will be concluded to-day, and those who have not yet seen this fine display of produce, trade exhibits, etc., should not fail to attend either to-day or this evening. At about 9 p.m. a lot of the produce which has been donated to the society will be submitted for sale by auction. TRADE DISPLAYS. KOR KER—THE PUNCTURE SEALER. One of the most expensive items in tke running of a motor-car, even where the roads are good like they are in Taranaki, is the upkeep of tyres. Messrs. Hill Bros, and Candy, of Hamilton, who have a stand at the winter show in the motor hall, claim that the use of Kor Ker, of which they are sole Australasian agents, will overcome this. Kor Ker eliminates 60 per cent, of all tyre trouble by preserving the life of both tube and tyre. It is very simple to use, and its cost is within the reach of every motorist. They were busy all day yesterday demonstrating to interested patrons.
