By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Present indications are for variable winds, with moderate southerlies ruling northwards of Westport and Kaikoura, and moderate tc strong 1 ' south-west to north-west winds elsewhere, squally at times in Otago. Pair anti milder weather may be expected generally with cloudiness Increasing shortly. The barometer shows little movement, but is falling soon in the south.
