DOMINION WINTER SHOW.

AT HAWJSRA. A very useful class, and one which the committee have fostered and encouraged in every way possible, is the garden vegetables class and field roots. These include .all kinds of vegetables grown by exhibitor, to foster the development of good vegetable gardens, a most necessary adjunct for every household. Field roots encourages the farmer to grow plenty of the best for winter feed. A special class added is that for best collection of farm roots grown from Sutton’s seeds, for which two special prizes are offered, £4 4s by J. G. Ward and Co., Christchurch, and £2 2s by F. Gillanders, Hawera. These will no doubt suffice to draw keen competition. The committee fully' expect to sec a great display in these useful classes.
