Masters. M.P., has written to him asking him to extend his itinerary to include a visit to Stratford. Mr. Thomas Farrell, who for some time has been teller at the Stratford branch of the Bank of Australasia, has received notice of his promotion to the bank’s Auckland branch, and leaves for the north almost immediately. Mr. C. C. Johnson, at present on the Stratford branch’s staff, will be promoted to Mr. Farrell’s place. Miss Stanford, principal of St. Mary’s Diocesan School for Girls, Stratford, will be at home on Monday to carol pupils.
