Jibe policy of the Defence Department in respect to the .sale of surplus stores is to give as many individuals as possible—town And/ country people alike—an opportunity of making purchases. The quantity available for sale to each individual is strictly limited as set out in catalogue. Depots for the Sale of Surplus Military Stores ■ • . : Will be* Opened on the Above Dates at The Drill-hall, Wellesley Street, AUCKLAND; The Drill-hall, Buckle Street, WELLINGTON; King Edward Barracks, CHRISTCHURCH; The Drill-hall, Kensington, DUNEDIN. The depots'will be opened for sales to the general public between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on above days. Samples will be displayed at above depots between the hours ox 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 24th November. Owing to the shortage of paper and the necessity of expeditiously serving the public, purchasers attending sales aje requested to bring £ bag or other forms of packing, as parcels will not be packed at _ the depot. SALES BY POST. W GOODS will'be sent POST-FREE. So that there may be an equal distribution throughout the Dominion, sales may be made through the medium of the post; but orders will only be executed if the following instructions are followed: — If you live in the Auckland Military District, post your orders to Military Stores Disposal Board, BOX 1514, AUCKLAND. Jf you live in the Wellington Military District, Post your orders to Military Stores Disposal Board, BOX 1436, WELLINGTON. If you live in the Canterbury Military District, post your orders to Military Stores Disposal Board, BOX 964, CHRISTCHURCH. If yon live in the Otago Military District, post your orders to ; Military Stores Disposal Board, BOX 697, DUNEDIN. Orders sent through the post must be accompanied by a postal note or Public Account bank receipt to cover tlje order. Cheques will not be aecepted.
