BATTLE OF JUTLAND.

STORY NOT PUBLISHED. THE PRESS ASKS WHY. By Telegraph.—Press Asan.—CopyTSelit, Received Sept. 27, 7.55 p.m. London, Sept. 27. Newspapers continue to comment on the Admiralty's failure to publish the story of Jutland prepared by a committee under Captain Harper. The Western Morning News says it is in no way due to Lord Jellicop's action. Lord Jellicoe, after his visit to the Dominions, examined the report, and consented to its publication, but other influences suggested alterations. Hence the deadlock, as the First Lord of the Admiralty promised that the report should be published as it left the committee. Lord Jellicoe, before going to New Zealand, reiterated his approval of the report being issutid without amendments, desiring the fullest publicity.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
