STEAMER HELD UP.
THB TROUBLE ON THE MOANA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 27. The Moana is still in harbor. The cooks and stewards stood by the chief cook, and the company did not discharge brm. Twelve firemen and nine trimmers thereupon signed off. The Seaineii's Union endeavoured to replace them, but it is alleged that picketing was resorted to and the effort was a failure. Later. The Moana, trouble is still unsettled. The vessel was scheduled to sail for Syd(ate this afternoon, but there is little prospect of her departure. If there is no settlement shortly the crew will probably be paid off.
