NORTH v. SOUTH TARANAKI. A WIN FOR THE SOUTH. A match between teams representing South Taranakl and North Tarauaki was played on the New Plymouth Club's links at Waiwakaiho yesterday. The day's play ended In a victory for South by three games. In the morning a four-ball match was played, and on the eight matches, North were one down. . In the afternoon, singles were played, and on the sixteen games, North wpre two down, making a total of three down on the day.
