PRINCE'S VOYAGE HOME.
.VISITING THE WEST INDIES. A PICTURESQUE ISLAND. By Tslegraph.—Press Assn.—CopyrlgM. Received Sept. 20, 5.5 p.m. St. George (Grenada), Sept. 25. The Prince of Wales arrived in the Renown at Grenada, the most picturesque of all the West Indian Islands, to-day. He was welcomed by the Governor (Sir George liaddon Smith), executive legislative councillors, and heads of the churches. The Prince visited Lake Grand Etang, 2000 feet altitude, which was formerly the scene of fearsome negro sacrificial celebrations, and waß also the scene of the massacre of British inhabitants by negro felons and a . b'and of insurrectionists in 1705. Now, under British rule, the whole island enjoys peace and prosperity, although the negro popular tion exhibits some unrest, conforming to the world-wide manifestations of discontent among workers. The Prase holds a reception on board the Renown to-night, and sails at daybreak for St. Lucia.—Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn.
