MARANATHA. is some expectancy and no little speculation amongst Oriental religionists concerning Christ's Second Coming- They imagine that He will come as before, humble and lowly, and as a teacher. The Bible, the only Book which can tell ua concerning Him, says that the next time Ho visits this earth will be as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His teaching will be the rod of iron by which He will rule all nations. The great Book of books promises that the next Coming of Christ will mean endlesS glory to "all who have made peace with God through the blood of His Cross." But the same sure Word of the Living and eternal God pronounces woe to all wlio despised the precious blood Christ slicd for guilty sinners on Calvary's Cross. "Behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His Saints to execute judgment upon all." "But who may abide the day of His Coming and wlio shall stand when He appeareth?"— Malaclii 3, 2. He is coming soon, perhaps to-day! DESTRUCTION OF CALVES ILLEGAL. Ii) many European countries the destruction of calves—especially heifer calves—is illegal. In this country, where plenty of foodstuffs abound, it should be made illegal too. The calves of to-day will be valuable yearlings next season, yet annually thousands of potentially valuable animals are wantonly killed. Ceremilk will yield vigorous, healthy calves, and any dairy farmer knows that tlie price of good dairy cows is going to increase far beyond .the cost of rearing a calE. One 1001b bag of Ceremilk, costing 2fls, will rear four calves past the milk food sta»re. There is no better preparation on tfie markpt so far as food value, ease of preparation, and, safety are concerned. Cere-milk is cheaper in the end than any inferior substitute. It is the purest and most nutritious calf food. All Stores
