DEFENCE OF HOLLAND.
GOVERNMENT'S POLICY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright, The Hague, Sept. 21. The Queen's speech at the opening of Parliament stated that, the situation in Europe remaining uncertain and preventing the aspirations of the League of Nations being fulfilled, therefore measures would be taken to reinforce the active forces in Holland, while lessening the pressure of military service both on the individual and on the finances of the country.—United Service.
