WEDDING.

GOVETT—BREWSTER. (By VVire.—Special to News.) Wanganui, Last Night. A quiet wedding was solemnised ,at St. John's Church, Wanganui, this afternoon between Monica Romaine, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Clement Govett, and grand-daughter of the late Archdeacon Govett, New Plymouth, and Dr. Rex Carrington Brewster, only son ! of Mrs. ,J. E. Brewster, New Plymouth. The service was performed by the bride's uncle, ■ Archdeacon Evans, assisted by Archdeacon Reeve. The church was beautifully decorated by Miss Hursthouse, of Wellington, and Mrs. Didsbury, who also presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. Wm. Atkinson, wore a dainty frock of white georgette, with pale blue girdle, and carried a bouquet of primroses and hyacinths- Miss Marjorie Govett (sister of the bride) wore a pale grey gabardine braided frock, 'with an ermine fur, and grey ribboned hat, and carried a bouquet of pale yellow primroses. Mrs. Atkinson, (cousin of the bride) wore a violet crepe de chine gown, with hat to match, and parried a bouquet of shaded :putplc flowers. Mrs. Evans (aunt of the bride),• wore a navy blue frock and squirrel furs, and violet hat. Mrs. Brewster (mother of the bridegroom)* • wore amythist silk eolienne with floral jumper effect, and hat with shaded wreath. She carried a bouquet' of nlauvfe and pink anaemones. Miss Brewster wore apple green crepe, de chine embroidered .in gold, and black tulle hat with gold, with a bouquet of shaded prim'roses. Mrs. Oliver Samuel wore a black and white frock, and black feathered hat. A reception was held at "Hurworth," the residence of Mr. Wm> Atkinson, whore numerous relatives, and friends were present. Later, the bride and bridegroom left on a motor tour, the bride travelling in a navy blue braided i(oat frock and a pretty navy ribbon hut.
