DROWNED IN A TANK. T' J By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christclrurch, Sept. 20. John Olliver Howson, aged SS, who* was living in North Christchurch, was found drowned in a tank in his garden this morning. INQUEST ON CHINAMAN. "■ Dunedin, Sept. 20. An inquest was held on the body of Sue Pin, the aged Chinaman who was found dead in his hut at Blackball, near Ranfurly. After hearing medical evidence the coroner returned a verdict that the cause of death was apoplexy caused by rupture of a diseased bloodvessel in the brain. A doctor said that in his opinion the mark on the forehead was caused by the deceased man falling and striking some hard substance after hemorrhage of the brain had commenced.
