She is bringing 900 tons of general cargo, and will sail again to-morrow for Wellington and Lyttelton. CORINNA TO LOAD CHEESE. The Corinna, which left Oamaru yesterday for Nelson and New' Plymouth with general cargo, will arrive at this port on Thursday morning. She will load 950J) crates of cheese for transhipment to the Port Sydney at Wellington, sailing for that port on Friday evening. 1 POBT PHOTS FROM SYDNEY. Word was received yesterday that the liner Port Pirie'left Sydney at 8 a.m. on Sunday, and Is due to arrive here on Thursday afternoon. THE LINER MAMARI. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., local agents of the 5.3. and A. Co., have received telegraphic advice to the effect that the Mamarl fess wirelessed that she is due at Fort Chalmers on Thursday. THE WESTRALIA. The Huddart Parker Co.'s inter-Stata passenger steamer Westralia left Melbourne <m Friday afternoon direct for Wellington. The vessel, is due at Wellington to-morrow. THE MOANA. The Union Company's intercolonial staamer Moana left Sydney on Friday for Wellington. She Is due at Wellington to-day. THE PORT DARWIN. The C. and D. liner Port Darwin left Sydney on Friday for Auckland, where she will commence loading for London. She also is to visit Whangarei and Whakatane, filling up finally at Auckland. She should sail about the middle of October fdr London. , CANADIAN PROSPECTOR. The Canadian Government liner Canadian Prospector is due at Wellington to-day from Vancouver, via Australia. She left Melbourne on Wednesday. POBT VICTOR LEAVES PANAMA. The C. and D. liner Port Victor left Panama for Auckland on September 16, In continuation of her voyage from Liverpool and Glasgow to New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland on Oetober 10, and should be in Wellington on October 18. , MADURA AS OIL-BURNER. A report received by the Union Company slates that the work of converting the mall steamer Makura into an 011-burnlng ship Is proceeding satisfactorily at San Francisco.
