It is quite certain that hundreds of pounds will be paid for the twenty-two pedigree heifers and sixty-eight pedigree bulls to be paraded. It is no "cull" sale iu any sense of the word, but with the object of popularising the breed and proving tho' v;\lue of first-clnss stutf to the average farmer, an annual public auction is being Inaugurated. Tha animals to be .offered claim as their sires K.C.8., Majesty's Pox, Eminent's Fontaine, Koherts, l'btune's Noble, Campanile Sultan, Charm's Lord Twyllsh, Soumlse Majesty, and (loddlngton, while the breeders' names are sufficient guarantee of quality from the point of view of show awards.
