By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, The Scottish Independent Labor Conference at Glasgow proposes tW Mr. Winston Churchill (Secretary for War) should be arrested for trial by the House of Commons, on charges that he Committed crimes against humanity by using British troops to assist reactionary elements in Europe against Russia without the consent of the British people.
A London cable reports that a body, identified 'as that of Richard Henry Manning, with his head almost severed, has been discovered near Chatham. It is believed that Manning came from Australia, seeking work. English dolls and numerous other exhibits will be taken to the Dominions in 1922; The Department of Overseas Trade states that the Dominions want British goods, consequently a tour lasting two years has been designed. The Labour Party has decided to ask the West Ausfrajjiah Ofavcrmnemt to alter the Constitution to enable youths of the age of eighteen to become eligible to vote at elections, and to receive the basic wage. The West Australian returns, delayed by the Civil Service strike, show a. deficit for the past year of £(588,224. The total deficit is now £4,056,704. The Victorian House of Representatives agreed to make the Industrial Peace Bill urgent business. Russians crossed the eastern border of Bessarabia, which was ceded to Roumania by the Versailles Treaty. Thousands of Roumanians fled when called to the colors, and are now reported to be interned in Bulgaria.
